Method
- Blend strawberries, milk, sugar, and water to form a puree in a blender or processor.
- Strain the puree into a medium size saucepan.
- Add agar-agar into the strained puree. Whisk till well mixed.
- Cook on medium-low heat till bubbles appear on the sides.
- Remove from heat and add heavy cream. Whisk till everything is combined. Again cook on medium heat till bubbles appear on sides.
- Pour the mixture into ramekins/moulds. Let the mixture cool before placing in the refrigerator to set for at least 2-3 hours.
- Serve with melted chocolate or fresh fruits.
Notes
Notes:-
- The mixture should never come to a boil rather it should be taken off the heat when little bubbles at the sides.
- Panna cotta at least requires 2-3 hours to set.
- It should be covered and refrigerated for up to 4 days.
- To unmould dip the ramekin in hot water for three seconds and run a knife along the edges.
