Strawberry Panna Cotta

With only a handful of ingredients create this creamy and velvety strawberry panna cotta. A delightful and easy dessert for any occasion.

Ingredients
  

  • 200 g Strawberries
  • 50 g Milk ¼ cup
  • 50 g Sugar ¼ cup
  • 50 g Water ¼ cup
  • 160 g Heavy Cream ¾ cup
  • 1 tbsp Agar-Agar

Method
 

  1. Blend strawberries, milk, sugar, and water to form a puree in a blender or processor.
  2. Strain the puree into a medium size saucepan.
  3. Add agar-agar into the strained puree. Whisk till well mixed.
  4. Cook on medium-low heat till bubbles appear on the sides.
  5. Remove from heat and add heavy cream. Whisk till everything is combined. Again cook on medium heat till bubbles appear on sides.
  6. Pour the mixture into ramekins/moulds. Let the mixture cool before placing in the refrigerator to set for at least 2-3 hours.
  7. Serve with melted chocolate or fresh fruits.

Notes

Notes:-
  1. The mixture should never come to a boil rather it should be taken off the heat when little bubbles at the sides.
  2. Panna cotta at least requires 2-3 hours to set.
  3. It should be covered and refrigerated for up to 4 days.
  4. To unmould dip the ramekin in hot water for three seconds and run a knife along the edges.
