Classic Panna Cotta

With just five ingredients create this super simple classic Panna Cotta. This elegant dessert with a creamy texture is an egg-less, gluten-free, no-bake recipe.

Ingredients
  

  • 180 g Milk ¾ cup
  • 120 g Heavy cream ½ cup
  • 50 g Sugar ¼ cup
  • 1 tsp Vanilla Extract
  • 10 g China grass 1 packet

Method
 

  1. Soak china grass in a saucepan with ¼ cup of milk for 10 minutes.
  2. Pour the rest of the milk and cook on medium heat till the china grass is completely melted.
  3. Add sugar and mix till melted. Switch off the flame.
  4. Add Vanilla extract and cream. Cook on medium flame till everything is well combined.
  5. Pour into ramekins or silicone moulds. After they cool down to room temperature refrigerate for at least 6 hours.
  6. Serve with fresh fruits or fruit sauce.

Notes
I’ve used 10 g of china grass which is equivalent to 1 sheet/1 tablespoon/7 grams of gelatine. Also equivalent to 7g/1 tbsp of agar-agar.
